Wilseyville The rains came back so we were in for a classic Wilseyville race. It was cold, muddy, raining and was going to be lots of fun. None of G Brothers Racing got a very good start but Brian jumped a ditch and got up near the front. G-Man and Patrick were back in the pack trying to see where we were going. The leaders must not been able to see because they ended up on the C race course and had a very quick first lap. The course got real nasty real quick. New lines were being made all over so you wouldn’t get stuck in the ruts. After the second lap the promoter put out a sign that we were going to do ten laps and we thought it was a joke. We didn’t think we would even be able to make it around ten times. Throughout the race the course workers cut out sections that were getting real bad and routing us around them. Brian was riding awesome and thought he was leading. He raced with Shane Watts for most of the race and pulled some time on him on the last lap. Results ended up being a mess. The five that got lost on the first lap were penalized and the results show Paul Edmondson first, Brian second, Patrick third, and G-Man finished a lucky thirteenth. |
