After a couple of muddy races the conditions were great for this race.  Brian got a bad start and worked his way up to 15th after the first lap.  Jimmy Jarrett, the holeshot king, led the first lap over Jason Raines and Barry Hawk.  Jason made his move and passed Jimmy about the same time Barry clipped a pole crossing a bridge and submerged both bike and body.  Rodney and Mike Kiedrowski had hooked up and caught up to Jason.  The swapped the lead for the next couple laps.  Brian was moving up and make it up into the top ten. He raced with Woodford, Cole Caukins, and Fred Andrews for much of the race.  Jason pulled a little lead out but the last couple of laps Rodney and Kiedrowski caught Jason again.  They had a good race for the lead with Rodney making a pass just near the end to take the win showing that at 40 he is not slowing down.  Jason held on for second ahead of Kiedrowski.  Scott Summers put in another strong ride in his comeback to score a fouth.  Hatch, Andrews, and Watts were next.  Shane had caught up to the lead pack then had his rear brake go out along with his chance at the win.  Jimmy Jarrett held on for eight, about a minute ahead of Brian, with Blackwell rounding out the top ten.
