Milleville

Brian stayed back after the Michigan Hare Scramble and during the week he got to try a dirt track race.  Brian has always had a little interest in dirt track and he finally got a chance to ride a track during a local fair race.  Brian was the only one there that was on motocross bike, which was a KTM 525 SX, racing against a field of Harleys.  He learned fast to stay in the groove and had a good time in the race and said he even got to pass one guy.

At the WORCS race Brian got a poor start and had to play catch up all day.  Ty Davis took the holeshot ahead of Scott Sheak and Jimmy Jarrett, with Shane Watts in fourth.  Brian had a hard time making passes on the course as it was tight and didn't flow very well.  A dozer drove though the woods and so there was a turn around a tree then a twenty foot straight then another turn.  The place to pass was the motocross track.  With the deep whoops sections and a wide layout Brian liked the fifth National Motocross track that he has ridden.  Brian caught up to fifth with one lap to go and made a pass on Jimmy Jarrett on the last lap to move to fourth.  Shane Watts moved passed the other riders and took his first win in nearly two years and is looking like his old self again.  Ty Davis finished twenty seconds back while Scott Sheak rounded out the podium.
