New Jersey Enduro

Unfortunately this is a short one and the most interesting part was getting there.  G-Man was going to meet us at the airport in Philadelphia and Mike from WER was going to drive us home.  Brian and I had a stop in Chicago where we had to switch planes.  We got off our plane and went to the new gate when we found out the flight to Phily was cancelled.  We had to wait in line and find a new plane.  We were getting the run around and there was nothing we could do.  We talked to G-Woman and she said that G-Man was in Phily and had our luggage.  We waited from 5 to 10 and they said our plane was circling the airport waiting to land.  Next they told us our plane was really in Madison and at 10:30 they would tell us its status.  We tried to have them comp us a room but they don’t do that for whether problems.  We were wandering and saw a plane going to Newark.  We looked at each other and said that’s close to where we want to be.  They called for standby and we walked up and said we aren’t on standby but we want to go to Newark.  They said OK just take any seat that’s open.  We got to Newark at 3 in the morning and took a $60 cab ride to Mike’s house.  We got up early the next morning and put our bikes together and left for the race.  The next morning we got up and it was snowing out.  Right when I left the start line my bike died and took seven minutes to get going.  I pinned it and barely made the check-in and then I saw G-Man.  He was the victim of the first mud hole.  I made it to the twenty mile marker when my hub broke.  Brian and G-Man made it to the first gas where G-Man’s bike was toast from being stuck and Brian had ripped off his front brake line.
