Indiana GNCC The last GNCC of the year held in Indiana is one of the riders favorites. It is a little faster than most and has some good grass track sections. It also has some good hills and some creeks that the riders go down for quite a ways. Brian got off to a good start and came around in fifth on the first shortened lap behind Mike Lafferty, Rodney Smith, Jason Raines, and Robbie Jenks. Brian was in a good battle with Jenks when his chain came off resulting in a rare DNF. Rodney Smith raced his last race of the year with the number one plate and went out in style with a win for the third year in a row at this race. Lafferty edged out Raines for second in the race but Jason took the second spot in the championship ahead of Lafferty. Scott Summer crossed the finish line in fourth but was later disqualified for a fueling infraction. |
