Steve Silvestri- U.S.A. 250 club rider

Steve Silvestri, better known as G-MAN, is an original gbrother. He's been racing the six days for quite some time now. We tried to film him today but, with his blazing speed and pure talent, the camera just couldn't keep up. Here's what the " bronze god " had to say.

Gbrothers- What do you think of Granada so far?

G-MAN- This place is bitchin'!! It easily the best six days I've ever ridden.

Gbothers- What is your goal this six days?

G-MAN- I would just like to finish. Finishing in the top ten would be cool however, The overall leader for day 1, Mika Ahola, is in my class so it's going to be tough. I'm just happy to be able to compete in the sport I love in a foreign country.

Gbrothers- What was your favorite test?

G-MAN- Test 3 was cool. I aired it out "Pastrana style'' off this natural jump did you get that on film? I thought test 1 was fun also.

Gbrothers- Sorry G. I tried but you jumped right out of the picture. Do it again tomorrow. I heard you showed some riders at a bottle neck how we do it in Cali.... What happened?

G-MAN- Well there were 50 or 60 riders sitting in a line. I stopped short and someone suggested that I help them up the hill and then they would return the favor.... I didn't think that was such a good idea so I picked a line and pinned it. I made it up the hill grinning all the way. I think that those guys are still out there.

Gbrothers- Do you have any last words?

G-MAN- Sure do. I'd like to give a WUZZZUUUP! To L.A.D.B., Los Altos Dirt Bikers. I'd also like to say hello to the two most beautiful and loving women in my life, my wife and daughter, Christine and Gabriella.

Gbrothers- Hey one more question... If you could be any photojournalist in the world who would you be?

G-MAN- Actually I'm glad you asked that. It's a little known fact that Michael Demaree from gbrothersracing has been an idol of mine for a long time now. Man that really feels good to finally get that off my chest. Do you think he will feel weird around me now?
