Russ Pearson- U.S.A. 250 Trophy Rider

Russ is just plain fast. His whole family is fast. He's been ripping it up in the states and is now tearing Granada a new one. He is fast becoming one of the United States premier Off road riders. He's a likely bet for this years top American honors. We sat down after the trophy team's day one meeting to see how he was doing.

Gbrothers- How was your first day?

Russ- It went pretty well. I woke up this morning and was not prepared for the rain. I did alright in the first section. I was kind of tight. In the second section it got cold. There was fog were you couldn't see two feet in front of you. The rocks were slimy and it had some off camber sections but, I pulled through with out crashing. All in all, I had a good first day.

Gbrothers- What was your favorite test?

Russ- The first test was good. I felt the best in the second test. I was comfortable, on the bike, by that time. ( Russ ended up 24th overall for that test)

Gbothers- What is your goal for this six days?

Russ- Do better in the tests, try not to crash, pick better lines. A top 10 overall in a test would be cool.

Gbrothers- Do you have anyone you would like to say hello to?

Russ- I'd like to say Hi to everyone back home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
