U.S.A. 250 Trophy Rider

Destry has just come off winning the National Hare & Hound Championship. He is on a roll and there is no end in site. He was top American for day two. We will have a clip of him up on day five. He is flying. We had the privilege of talking to the National H&H Champ.

Gbrothers- Congratulations on winning the championship. How are you doing so far at this six days?

Destry- Thank you. I'm still going that good. I was happy being top American today. Yesterday I went down twice and today I stayed on the bike. My bike is running great.

Gbrothers- Which test was your favorite?

Destry- The last test. I motocross a lot so that test fit my style well.

GBrothers- What is your goal this six days?

Destry- My main goal is to finish. I also want the trophy team to do well.

GBrothers- How do the qualifiers compare to the six days?

Destry- The six days aren't as tight. They have faster test. They also run ecology tires overseas we don't back home.

GBrothers- What do you have planned for the next year?

Destry- I'm going to do a variety of thing... I'm going to race the Daytona supercross and some outdoor nationals. I will defend my title, race the new west coast series. I probably won't do many Best of the Dessert races. Next year should be interesting.

GBrothers- Do you have anyone you would like to say hello to?

Destry- Yes, I'd like to say hello to my wife and kids.
