Brian Garrahan

Brian began riding about the age of ten.  When Patrick started to learn how to ride it wasn't long before Brian was asking for a turn on the bike.  Brian fooled around for a few years racing the local D-36 Hare Scrambles working his was up from the C 125 class winning many races, but it wasn't until he went along with the family for the ISDE in Holland that he began to get serious about racing.  The next year he raced his first expert race and signed up as AA at the Hollister National Hare Scramble and got the holeshot.  He ended going fast for a while before crashing.  He has similar experiences in his next two races at the Shasta National Hare Scramble and the Loretta Lynn GNCC/Hare Scramble.  That year he was selected for the Junior Team at the ISDE in Oklahoma but broke his wrist twenty miles into the race.  Since then he has been to the ISDE six times resulting in three Gold Medals, one Silver, one Bronze, and the one DNF.  He has been selected for the US Trophy Team twice and was on the US Junior Team four times.  In addition he has finished 2nd in the National Hare Scramble Series two years and top six five times.  During that time he has won three races, the Hollister National, Shasta Dam, and the Mule Kicker in Missouri.  He competed in the National Enduro series for the first time resulting in a fourth place overall finish in that series.

This year Brian is going after the National Hare Scramble Series Championship as well as the WORC's Series.  Brian is hoping to ride the ISDE this year in France and as well as many local D-36 races as possible.
